This study aims to determine the effect of premiums, claims, investments, and underwriting on the profit of sharia life insurance companies in Indonesia for the period 2013 - 2017 partially and simultaneously. This study examines the hypothesis which states that there are effects of premiums, claims, investments, and underwriting on earnings. This data collection technique uses a purposive sampling technique with certain criteria. The population in this study were 24 sharia life insurance companies registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in 2013 - 2017 and a sample of 8 Sharia life insurance companies. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the premium had an effect on earnings, claims had no effect on earnings, investment had an effect on profits, and underwriting had no effect on earnings.
