Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine compensation and motivation for the performance of PT. Pos (Persero) Lumajang, both significantly and simultaneously. The type of research used is descriptive using associative causal. This research was conducted with a total of 55 employees. The sampling technique used is a saturated sample. The method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Through the SPSS version 16 program for windows. This study conducted a direct test of the hypothesis proposed about compensation and motivation support for the performance of employees of PT. Pos (Persero) Lumajang. The results of the study prove that the compensation variable is not significant in realizing the performance of employees of PT. Pos (Persero) Lumajang, while the motivation variable affects significantly in achieving the performance of employees of PT. Pos (Persero) Lumajang. Meanwhile, compensation for motivation of PT. Pos (Persero) Lumajang with a coefficient of determination (R2) obtained at 0.228 which proves that 22.8%. The limitations of this study only support an increase in motivation and motivation on the performance of employees of PT. Pos (Persero) Lumajang. While other variables that affect the performance of employees of PT. Pos (Persero) Lumajang can be read by further researchers.
