MERANCANG KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR BERBASIS SELF DETERMINATION THEORY: STUDI KASUS PP A

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi atas kinerja karyawan yang tidak efektif pada konsultan PP A. Berdasarkan hasil interview ditemukan bahwa penyebab masalah tersebut adalah lack of performance measurement, lack of directions dan motivasi eksternal pada karyawan. Studi ini menggunakan SDT untuk menganalisis sejauh mana perusahaan telah memenuhi tiga kebutuhan dasar karyawan termasuk autonomy, mastery dan purpose. Hasil dari analisis tersebut digunakan sebagai dasar dalam merancang KPI berbasis SDT bagi karyawan. SDT pada lingkungan kerja sangat berguna untuk menaikan motivasi intrinsik. Motivasi tersebut mampu meningkatkan efektivitas karyawan sekaligus membuat mereka bahagia. Membangun motivasi intriksi lebih rendah biaya dan aman untuk perusahaan jangka panjang. Untuk mengimplementasikannya, dibutuhkan konsistensi dan kesepakatan bersama antar karyawan untuk mau meluangkan waktu sehingga program ini bisa berjalan dengan baik. Sejauh pengetahuan penulis ini adalah ide terbaru yang menggabungkan KPI dan SDT untuk memecahkan masalah performan karyawan yang tidak efektif.
