The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of tourism destination promotion strategies and identify the supporting factors and inhibiting the promotion of tourist destinations. The research method is qualitative research, data collecting method using: in depth interview, observation and documentation, purposive sampling technique with the certain criteria of sample as informant research, namely Department of Culture and Tourism, POKDARWIS and local community Sumbermujur Country.The results showed: 1) the implementation of tourism destination promotion strategy is done by using offline media (facebook, instagram), banners, brochures, magazines and coverage of local daily, coverage and other social media, 2). the factors supporting the success of the promotion of tourist destinations is the main authenticity of bamboo forests that deserve to be tourist destinations and promoted more widely to tourists at cultural events, the main plant in the bamboo forest is the various types of bamboo plants that have an important function for the conservation of the land to be the value of more destinations than others, and the factors of promoting the promotion of tourist destinations is the limited facilities and supporting infrastructure, namely the limited information center on site, rest area , canteen or food court, means of worship, and activities of personal selling, sales marketing and direct selling need to be improved in order to support the success of promotional activities undertaken.
